This was Help for Heroes very first fundraising dinner and was to celebrate the launch of their force for change appeal. All funds raised on the night went directly into helping Help for Heroes give veterans and their families the futures they deserve. To start the guests experience, and in keeping with the military theme behind the charity, guests were welcomed to the beautiful venue of The Royal Naval College at Greenwich with a Champagne drinks reception. The guests were called for dinner by a Naval bugle and led to the Painted Hall by a drummer. In the Painted Halls, the guests enjoyed an evening hosted by Martin Bayfield where they heard incredible stories shared by beneficiaries of the charity and their family members. Fundraising was mainly done through a live auction held by Jonny Gould, a traditional silent auction and pledge cards. The evening ended with a stunning performance from Laura Wright and The Royal British Legion band.
