ALLY MCCOIST
McCoist is a Rangers legend – he is the clubs record goal scorer, scoring 251 goals in 418 games for the Old Firm club and winning 9 consecutive league championships as well as managing them during a difficult period for the club. Ally also played 61 times for Scotland, scoring 19 goals. Since retiring from football in 2001 McCoist has gone on to have a successful media career. He’s highly regarded as one of the best co-commentators by football fans. He is a mainstay on TalkSport and was one of the most popular captains ever on ‘A Question of Sport’!
HARRY REDKNAPP
Redknapp is one of the biggest and best-loved characters in the world of football. Harry had a successful playing career but is known for being one of the most successful British managers. He’s guided West Ham to back to back top half finishes, Portsmouth to the premier league and FA cup glory and Spurs to Champions league football. He’s also manged some of the premier leagues greatest players including; Bale, Ferdinand, Cole, Carrick, Lampard, Crouch, Modric, Defoe and Di Canio!
ZARA PHILLIPS
We’re absolutely delighted to welcome royalty to this year’s Christmas event! Zara Tindall is a British equestrian legend and medal winning Olympian. The daughter of Anne, Princess Royal and the Granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Zara won the Eventing World Championships in 2006 and in the same year was voted as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
MIKE TINDALL
Racking up 108 appearances for Bath and 181 for Gloucester. Tindall is another member of the infamous 2003 World Cup winning team playing in all but one of the games in the tournament. Tindall won 75 caps for England between 2000 and 2011 scoring 14 tries. Tindall was one of England’s most consistent performers of his era which led to him being named captain of the 2011 world cup squad.
