RICKY HATTON
Ricky ‘The Hitman’ is one of the most lauded and beloved British boxers of all time who gained cult status amongst fans of the sport for his ferocious boxing style. During his boxing career he held multiple world championships in the light-welterweight division and one at welterweight. Starting his career in 1997 he went on to fight 48 times, winning 45 and knocking out 32 opponents. His fights vs Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will go down in British boxing history as two of the biggest ever.
SIR GEOFF HURST
‘They think it’s all over.. it is now!’ Sir Geoff Hurst is a true English sporting legend and needs no introduction! Hurst became the first player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final as England beat Germany 4-2 in 1966. He began his career at West Ham where he scored 242 goals in 500 games and won the Fa Cup in 1964. In total Hurst scored 24 goals in 49 appearances for England. A little known fact is that Sir Geoff has also made a first team appearance in cricket for Essex!
