We have run the Jinja Educational Trust (JET) charity dinner bi-annually since 2013. The dinner is organised to raise vital funds to run all of JET’s projects and to make improvements in Jinja for two years. We raised the funds through pledge cards and the sale of sugar cane water bottles. The dinner was hosted by Alistair Hargreaves and Roger Dakin. During the evening a fabulous gospel choir performed, and guests got to hear fascinating insight from one of the Ugandan ladies who worked for JET.
