Every year MBN run a special event based around a key sporting occasion. For 2018 the hype of the sporting world was around the Football World Cup. So in May, an unbelievable line-up of football legends joined us for our “Football’s Coming Home Lunch’, namely Peter Reid, Peter Shilton, John Barnes, Paul Merson, Michael Owen and the legendary commentator John Motson!
You could hear a pin drop as guests listened intently to their sporting heroes recounting tales from the ‘86, ’90 & ‘98 football World Cups. There was plenty of fun to be had throughout the evening including the famous John Barnes rap!
